My lining check!!!

So I went to my RE today for blood and a sonogram to see if my lining was thick enough for a transfer…it was at 8mm!!!  I wanted it to be thicker but 8mm is good and it will get thicker over the next 5 days…I go back on Thursday for another check and I start progesterone suppositories..oh the fun of feeling like I wet myself again, lol…we are set for a transfer on 8/28 and we are transferring 2 blasts!!!  I was also given a prescription for Valium…I have never taken Valium before but I was afraid since they had to dilate me during the retrieval that maybe the opening narrowed again…lets see how I react…I hope it just relaxes me so I am not all tense…I hope I dont look like this on it, lol

This is really exciting…I cannot wait for the transfer!!!

Valium will relax you and your uterus. 8 mm sounds fine–sounds like you are ready for transfer! Best Wishes to you and those embryos!

Your lining sounds great! Valium makes me loopy and sleepy! You’ll get your R&R with it. 😉 Good luck on the transfer!

8m is good and you’ve got room yet to grow before transfer comes around.

Yay! Glad to hear your lining is measuring where it should!

I’ve had to take Valium twice in my life so far…once for having Lasik to improve my vision and once for my first fresh IVF transfer. I couldn’t even tell I had taken anything before my Lasik procedure but I could definitely feel it relaxing me before my IVF transfer. I love Valium and I’m sure you will too. ; )
