Holy Nausea and Heartburn!!!

So last night before I went to bed I had the worst heartburn!!!  I was screaming for my hubby to find my tums…it was pretty bad…I have had heartburn this entire cycle but wow not like this…I woke up this morning tired and then I went to brush my teeth and I wanted to throw up…I was gagging when I was brushing my tongue and that does not happen to me…I am assuming this is all due to the increased amount of hcg in my system…we shall see if it gets worse or not…today I am 4weeks 6days and Monday cannot come fast enough!!!

Sorry you are feeling crappy, but also yay for symptoms. Hopefully a sign of a good, strong life developing!

That doesn’t sound pleasant at all, but at least you have some reassurance that you’re having pregnancy symptoms! Hang in there!

Yikes! Sorry to hear about the bad heartburn and not sleeping well. I’ve never had heartburn that I know of but I’ve heard how miserable it can be from my sister. I hope this is the worst of it for you!

    Heyyyy, congratulations.

Oooo, I remember heartburn. Do you have something called Gaviscon? That helps loads. You can get them in two flavours do see which one you like.

I highly recommend (speaking as a pregnant lady, not a future pharmacist, you aren’t my patient 😉 Zantac or a generic version (ranitidine). It fixes heartburn for about 12 hours and I would have died without it (ok, so I would have eaten way too many tums). The snazzy drug resources say to get your MD’s OK before starting it. Gaviscon is also a-okay, so enjoy it. It’s similar to Tums only a liquid and with slightly different antacids and usually a mint flavor. And congrats! Yay being pregnant!
