Transfer and 1dp5dt

So yesterday was my transfer of 2 frozen embryos from my last IVF cycle…I was getting a little worried over the weekend that maybe they wouldnt thaw or we wouldn’t have any embryos to transfer…once I didnt get a call that day I knew we would be ok…so our transfer was set for 10:45 and I took my Valium at around 10 so that I could be relaxed…we didnt get to transfer until 11:15…there was a woman who had a retrieval at 8:30 who was still in her bed…she was in great pain and I overheard that she had severe endometriosis…I felt so bad for her and the nurses were saying that they were shocked that she even went thru the retrieval since she was in agony in the waiting room…I wish I could hjave told them that a woman who has gone thru the IVF process is willing to do pretty much anything to have a baby even endure great pain…well they were transferring her to the emergency room for pain management…she was screaming and I was taken aback by it but the a nurse came by and said what was going on to reassure me that it was not an IVF issue but an underlying issue…then a dr. came in as I was lying there and also explained…my hubby was a little shocked that they would even come in and explain what was going on but it was probably that they wanted to reassure us that it wasnt a result of what they did…well getting back to the procedure I was relaxed due to the Valium but the dr. still had an issue getting the catheter in but it eventually went in and we had no issue transferring our 2 beautiful embryos!!!  I had asked if the embryos had any issues and they thawed beautifully…so we went home and I relaxed on the couch all day with the hubby…we watched the entire first season of game of thrones which was good…I think overall it was a good FET and I really hope that this is it for us!!!

So far no symptoms which is good news!!!  Last time I had some cramping which I thought was implantation which it was not but I have heard that no symptoms is good!!!

Ugh that poor woman – you’d think that being IN the field they are in, that they would understand that women will go through just about anything.
Glad all went well – when is your BETA?

Thrones!!! If you like the show the books are even better. Until you are stuck waiting on the author to finish the next one.
So exciting! Another truckload of sticky baby dust on its way.

Oh that poor woman! I completely sympathize with her as I have a bad case of endo myself (although it’s been better since I had surgery in 2010).

Congratulations on a successful transfer! I am praying so hard that this is the one for you! xo
